Angel Guesthouse

2 thumbs up for experience. the room i have and the guest house in general is very clean. i was able to spend a peaceful and comfortable stay. will definitely coming back and will recommend to people i know.

Chose to stay here for a work trip as I like to be in the town where possible and avoid big hotels where I can. I travel a lot and I may as well make the most of it and get to see a place from the inside. This b&b is in town and a short walk from everything (about 15 mins in a taxi from the station which is out of town) Fortunately I did choose small and friendly, since my company travel portal let us all down and my reservation hadn’t been received. I arrived out of hours without a reservation and no payment guarantee. A bigger hotel would have left me in reception until it had been sorted but the lovely people at The Angel found me a room and trusted me to sort things out. Which we did. Eventually. They were very patient but more than happy to help me. Breakfast is preordered which is great and it was exactly what I wanted - and there was plenty of it. It’s a typical little guest house. An eclectic mix of decor and furniture that’s obviously very personal to the owners and geared towards making your stay comfortable. I slept very well in a dark room with no outside noise. It was also great value.

Not sure where to start. Last stayed here BC (Before Covid) Chris and Sue are still as we remembered them even with an addition to the family. The food at breakfast is absolutely delicious even home made sausages. Going back a few years this was a Four in a Bed winner and if you stay here you can see why. If we should ever visit Tiverton again The Angel Guest House will be our first choice to stay.
